I'm finally on book 3 of the Lisa Shearin books--I like them, though they aren't my favorites.
Of course I had to break and read Magic Bleeds in between...OMG! Wonderfulness! A very satisfying read--appealing to the badass and the softy in me.
My favorite scene has to be where she walks into the room where they are deliberating on whether to kick her out of Curran's rooms or not. "Remember, DO NOT challenge anyone"......"We think she should be removed"...."Is that a challenge?" .... "Yes"...*beats ass*...*newly elected representative steps up*..."we think she should stay" AWESOME!
I'm an aspiring writer and an avid reader. SciFi, Fantasy, and Romance of any flavor are my mainstays. Occasionally I branch out into Mystery, Mainstream Fic, or Young Adult. What else? Man, this self-description thing is tough. Gotta think on this some more.
